The Jack London Foundation Research Center is currently located in a vintage cottage on the Benziger Family Winery on London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen, California. The research material is primarily secondary copies but is unique in the extensive subject matter that is connected to the life of Jack London and the existing Jack London Ranch and State Park. This collection began through the dedication of Russ Kingman, the founder of the Foundation in 1976 and has continued to be directed by Winnie Kingman and the Foundation Board of Directors. It consists of documents, reports, notes, letters and a wide variety of articles. There is a complete reference library of Londonís books and important biographies by noted authors and other related subjects. There are reprints of photographs that pertain to Jackís ranch, travels and friends. It is the goal of the Foundation to continue adding essays, documents and photographs to this research collection for researchers to use for years to come.
